UtekaPrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Uteka: Daily Brain Quest ("Uteka", "the app", "we") handles information on Android and iOS. Uteka is built to work offline: there is no account, no sign-in and no Uteka server that receives your game data.
In short: your progress is stored only on your device. We don't collect, sell or receive it. Google and Apple process some data when you watch an optional ad or make a purchase, under their own policies.
Information stored on your device
The app keeps the following in a local database on your device so you can play and resume:
- Game progress: daily puzzle packs, answers and attempts, XP, level, streaks, badges, Adventure and challenge results, practice and hint usage.
- Settings: language, theme, sound, haptics and motion preferences, reminder time.
- Purchase status: whether Pro is unlocked, the product ID and the store order ID. Payment details, purchase tokens and receipts are not stored by the app.
This information never leaves your device through Uteka and we cannot see it. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage (see Delete your data).
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise or approximate location, or any account information. The app has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Free players can choose to watch a rewarded video ad to receive a hint. Ads are never shown during a puzzle, never required to play, and never shown to Pro users. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect and process data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions, to deliver, measure and (if you allow it) personalize ads and prevent fraud.
- Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states), the app asks for your consent with Google's consent message before any ad is requested. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Ad content is limited to a general (PG) rating.
- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Google → Ads). On iOS the app does not request tracking permission.

Purchases (Google Play and App Store)
Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. They process your payment and account information under their own privacy policies. The app only receives a confirmation of the purchase (product ID, status and order ID) to unlock Pro, and stores it on your device. Use "Restore purchases" to unlock Pro again after reinstalling.
Notifications
If you turn on daily reminders, the app schedules them locally on your device. No push-notification server is used and you can turn reminders off at any time in Settings or in your device settings. The app reads your device's time zone only to work out the local date and reminder time.
Sharing
When you choose to share a result, the app opens your device's share sheet with a short text. Nothing is sent unless you pick an app and send it yourself.

This website
This site is static, with no cookies, analytics or ads. The hosting provider (Firebase Hosting by Google) may process technical request data, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and keep the service secure. Firebase privacy.
Data security and retention
Your data stays in the app's private storage on your device, protected by your device's operating system. It is kept until you delete it. Data processed by Google or Apple is retained according to their policies. Data sent to ad services is encrypted in transit.
Children
Uteka is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help.
Your rights
Because we don't hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on a server. You control your data directly on your device. For data processed by Google or Apple, use their tools or contact them. You may still contact us with any privacy question or request.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example if the app gains new features. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
